This is an alpha version of a WolfGL3D source port, which seems to be very promising with its graphical features. It already supports High-Resolution textures, MD3 models and floor-ceilings rendering. This port also supports some sort of dynamic lighting.
Press 'G' to turn on flashlight if it's too dark in the beginning of the map.

This port is not very playable at the moment, but it is surely worth a try to see its interesting visuals.

Installation instructions:

Download and unpack main port archive 'WolfGL3D.rar' to the original game's directory (this was 'D:\games\wolf3d' in my case).
Download and unpack patch 'Patch.rar' to the original game's directory ('D:\games\wolf3d') overwriting the files.
Download and unpack patch 'Setup.zip' to the original game's directory ('D:\games\wolf3d').
Download and unpack textures pack 'Textures.rar' to the original game's directory ('D:\games\wolf3d').
Download and unpack models pack 'Models-part1.rar' to the original game's directory ('D:\games\wolf3d').
Download and unpack models pack 'Models-part2.rar' to the original game's directory ('D:\games\wolf3d').
Download and unpack textures pack 'ReliefsKreuz.rar' to the 'Textures' directory ('D:\games\wolf3d\textures').
Download and unpack textures pack 'ReliefsKriegsMarine.rar' to the 'Textures' directory ('D:\games\wolf3d\textures').

Rus 'Setup.exe' to start the configuration utility. Select '1024x768 fullscreen' for resolution and click 'Run WOLFGL3D').

It's probably worth mentioning that this port is more than likely dead. It hasn't been updated since 2003.

there is a new Cristmass patch which enaples open sky with dynamic lcouds for 17th level of SOD (only the leve where it should be)
