This is an absolute classics of GL Ports - Kokak's DoomGL. Although it is hard outdated, it still looks fine enough to try it, especially if you are not scared by the funniest built-in 3D models set I've ever seen. This port served as a base for a merge of 2 famous projects (zDoom and DoomGL) into zDoomGL.
Download and unpack installer files to some temporary directory. Start 'setup.exe' to begin port files installation.
Point installer to the same folder where you store your original installed Doom files (this was 'd:\games\doom' in my case).
After the installation open the game folder ('d:\games\doom') and delete 'opengl32.dll' file. This file is only needed for an OpenGL support on 3dfx Glide compatible video accelerators (remember that good old times? :)). A deletion of this file will not turn off an OpenGL support, but the GL port will not exclusively require Glide libraries to start.
Start 'launcher.exe' file from the game's folder.
Click 'Configuration' in Launcher window to open configuration dialogue. Ensure that 'Set Screen Size to' is set to the highest resolution supported by your hardware and 'Go fullscreen' and 'Enable mouselook' are turned on.
Click 'Input device setup' and configure your keyboard and mouse buttons assignments.
Click 'Accept' on both windows and select 'Launch DoomGL'.
