This is an old project, which was initially named QBlood. This is an attempt to recreate original Blood game process on the Dark Places engine, which in fact is a Quake modification. In the early beginning this modification was intended to be a multiplayer-only and the goal was to play Bloodbath on new generation computers.

A current beta release contains multiplayer functionality (which is not finished yet as it has numerous flaws) and a greatly improved graphics if compared to the original.
Unfortunately, no single player gaming available yet.

Installation instructions:

Simply download and unpack port files archive to the games folder in order to install this modification. Then start the game from 'transfusion.exe'. This port has a plenty of video settings, so ensure to change them from in-game Options menu.
First of all, set a desired video resolution in 'Options'->'Change Video Modes'

I'm not sure if you should change a texture quality, which can possibly lower an overall quality of in-game picture, but you surely should adjust a quality of anisotropic filter.
Be sure to visit 'Options'->'Customize Effects'
And, finally, the most important visual adjustment settings are located in 'Options'->'Customize Lightning'. Setting 'Lightning: Full' before visiting this menu option will greatly simplify your task.
- Enable 'RTWorld DLight Shadows'
- Set 'RT World Lightmaps' to maximum (1)
- Enable 'HDR Bloom Effect'
- Set 'HDR Dynamic Range' to maximum (16)
This should give you a maximum video quality provided by this Port Engine.
Start the game by pressing 'Play Online' and selecting 'Start A New Game'

One of the Alpha builds on the forums has a single player map of the first level. Other than that no real work has been done on this in years. lol.

Yep, it's pity, but this project seems to be frozen at least, or even dead.
